 The Saga of the Dying Moon Bear It was a world of endings; a place where lost things washed up, a place of the last of the ruin. There, amid the endless shores of the shattered pink insides of millions of glistening seashells, next to the spindly, dead white limbs of the Ghost tree, is the tent of the last true inhabitant of the Leyland. The tent itself is a sight, the outside a jumble of messily stitched patches of mismatched pieces of fabric. But it was the inside of the tent that was the true spectacle. The Girl, for that was the name of the last Leylander, lived in the tent with Her Lost Things: the broken Teapot with the blue flower
